The end of the world as we know it isn't really an end at all.

How could it be? What humanity knows and expects is just one in a long sequence of climates that have come and gone over millions of years. Losing one world means gaining another, one will fish and birds and a whole new ecosystem suspended over the drowned remnants of Seattle, deep under the Puget Sound's rising waters.

The end of the world comes not with a bang but with a splash as global climate change wreaks changes large and small.
